The VSI sand-making machine was developed by incorporating advanced German technology and designed with specific user application scenarios in mind. Furthermore, it is equipped with hydraulic systems for ease of operation and produces finished products with excellent particle shape.
Suitable for applications in high-rise construction, highways, municipal engineering, water conservancy facilities, concrete mixing plants, and other fields, it is capable of processing soft, medium-hard, and high-hardness ore materials (such as limestone, granite, pebbles, quartz, etc.) with a hardness not exceeding 320 Pa.
Material enters the sand-making machine through the feed hopper and is divided into two streams by a splitter. One stream passes through the center of the splitter into a high-speed rotating impeller, where it is rapidly accelerated. It then impacts—along with the other stream—against the material liner within the vortex crushing chamber. Rebounding off the material liner, it strikes diagonally upward against the roof of the vortex chamber, whereupon its direction of motion changes, deflecting it downward; the material ejected from the impeller channels thus forms a continuous curtain of material. Consequently, a single particle of material undergoes two—or even multiple—probabilistic impacts, as well as friction and grinding actions, within the vortex crushing chamber.
The newly designed crushing chamber features an optimized material impact angle, minimizing friction against wear-resistant components.
The four-port impeller design enhances operational efficiency, resulting in a stable output increase of 30%.
The finished sand exhibits a cubic shape with an adjustable fineness modulus and high compressive strength.
The addition of a counterweight wheel conserves electrical energy while simultaneously boosting kinetic energy.
