Working Principle

Material enters the sand-making machine through the feed hopper and is divided into two streams by a splitter. One stream passes through the center of the splitter into a high-speed rotating impeller, where it is rapidly accelerated. It then impacts—along with the other stream—against the material liner within the vortex crushing chamber. Rebounding off the material liner, it strikes diagonally upward against the roof of the vortex chamber, whereupon its direction of motion changes, deflecting it downward; the material ejected from the impeller channels thus forms a continuous curtain of material. Consequently, a single particle of material undergoes two—or even multiple—probabilistic impacts, as well as friction and grinding actions, within the vortex crushing chamber.
