The Raymond mill is widely applicable for the fine pulverization of over 280 types of materials across various industries—including mining, chemicals, and construction—such as barite, calcite, potash feldspar, talc, marble, limestone, dolomite, fluorite, lime, activated clay, activated carbon, bentonite, kaolin, cement, phosphate rock, gypsum, and glass. It is suitable for non-flammable and non-explosive materials with a Mohs hardness of no greater than 9.3 and a moisture content of less than 6%.

Working Principle

Raw materials are conveyed via an elevator to a storage hopper, then fed uniformly by an automatic feeder into the grinding chamber of the main unit. Inside the chamber, the material is scooped up by blades and directed between the grinding rollers and the grinding ring, where it is continuously pulverized into fine powder through impact and rolling action. The ground fine powder is carried by an airflow into an analyzer for classification; oversized particles fall back down for further grinding, while qualified fine powder travels with the airflow into a cyclone separator for separation from the air. The separated powder is then discharged through a discharge valve, ready for packaging and shipment.
