The compound crusher—also known as the compound sand-making machine or vertical-shaft sand-making machine—is a new type of fine crushing and coarse grinding equipment developed through the optimized design of key technical parameters, drawing upon the strengths of various domestic and international fine crushing devices. It features a simple and rational internal structure, offers a high crushing ratio and low energy consumption, and is convenient to operate.
It is widely applied to medium-hard and weakly abrasive materials—such as shale, glass, coal, bluestone, and metal ores—with a compressive strength not exceeding 140 MPa and a moisture content of no more than 15%.
Material is fed in through the top inlet, falls into the crushing chamber, and is struck by high-speed rotating blow bars, which rapidly hurl it against the impact plates. Upon impact, the material rebounds back toward the blow bars to be struck once again. Simultaneously, the motion of the blow bars induces a flow within the material, generating significant inter-particle grinding action that further reduces the material until it reaches the desired particle size.
Featuring a vertical structural design, the unit occupies minimal floor space and allows for convenient installation and maintenance.
Operating noise levels remain below 75 decibels (dB), and dust generation is minimal. The processed product is cubic in shape with a high bulk density, resulting in negligible iron contamination.
Equipped with both fine crushing and coarse grinding capabilities, the unit is largely unaffected by the moisture content of the feed material. It incorporates an elastic adjustment mechanism that automatically ejects any uncrushable foreign objects, ensuring highly efficient operation.
The roller shells feature a long wear cycle. All wear parts are fabricated from the latest domestic high-strength, wear-resistant materials, enabling the unit to effectively crush high-hardness materials with minimal material loss and an extended service life.
